These sessions are designed to improve and consolidate your whitewater kayaking technical skill, knowledge and experience. Our weekend introductions for beginners to get the taste for whitewater kayaking.  

Here you can try and check out if kayaking is your sport!

Starting on flatwater we improve during this weekend to grade 1 to 2 whitewater.

The Mittenwald area offers everything the sport of kayaking needs: natural rivers with clear water, a great scenery with the famous Karwendel mountains as backdrop. A supportive course and team dynamic on and apart from the river while experiencing the fascination of this nature sport.

Objectives:

- Basic stroke technique, feeling for the kayak and water, getting used to the mechanics of kayaking, water safety, safe capsizing, protective equipment and management, weather awareness and water levels

- Beginner paddlers are welcome to join this course as a refresher or to build confidence

Iller River, Oberstdorf & Immenstadt area in the Allgau Alps, Bavaria, Germany

This scenic, friendly area offers perfect conditions for comfortable paddling and development. Starting on a lake to learn the basics, and soon moving on to your first river trip. The rivers selected for this course provide a perfect training character. At the beginning of the season this course is a nice start for the years ahead of whitewater river paddling.

Unique aqua-green, crystal clear water in an untouched and remote valley is your partner to learn and develop kayaking in a comfortable atmosphere. The river starts with very easy flat water stretches and increases every day to more challenging, but always fair and open grade 3 rapids in fascinating gorges. This balance of whitewater makes the Salza probably the best river to start and develop your kayaking skills. Durance Valley, South of France

“The best sunshine with French flair and great scenery...”

An always sunny holiday destination with a great variety of rivers. Kayakers or sun seekers who like the southern french lifestyle will love this area. For beginners the Durance is a real playground for first steps. Advanced and intermediates will get challenged and improved on some of the many tributaries. See Gallery

 Eiskanal, Augsburg & Loisach River: Intensive Coaching

An intense training weekend for intermediates (Gr 3-4). A combination of improving the skills in the natural slalom of the technical whitewater of the Loisach River and transferring this to the pushy currents of the Eiskanal. Both days offer complete opposite whitewater features and you can learn to assimilate your techniques to the requirements of these two different characters. The weekend finishes with an intensive swim training through the currents and stopper holes of the Eiskanal.

Objectives:  - Improving the technique in tight, technical whitewater (Loisach)

- Experiencing the difference to the pushy and curly water of the Eiskanal and learn to assimilate your technique

- Experience and learn how to control a swim in pushy and powerful whitewater (Eiskanal) as a safety training
